About Rehoboth Foundation

At REHOBOTH Foundation, our mission is to work towards freedom from rape, sexual abuse, sexual violence, and the deep trauma they cause. We exist to walk with survivors on their path to healing, justice, and renewal—without judgment, limits, or fear.

Our Story

Rehoboth Foundation was founded in 2023 by Maureen Badejo who recognized the need for comprehensive support for young people facing challenges in their lives. What began as a small mentoring program has grown into a multi-faceted organization offering a range of services and programs.

Over the past year, we've expanded our reach and impact, always staying true to our core belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Today, Rehoboth Foundation operates throughout the Nigeria, partnering with schools, community organizations, and government agencies to provide integrated support to thousands of young people and their families each year.

Our Vision

Our Vision

We envision a world where affordable, accessible, and diverse pathways to healing are available to all survivors of sexual trauma—whether rooted in childhood abuse or adult assault.
Our services are designed to reflect the real needs of survivors, shaped by their voices, and delivered with the highest standards of equality, inclusion, and trauma-informed care.

Our Values

We believe that every individual regardless of gender, age, ethnic background, culture, religion, or sexuality deserves access to confidential, respectful, and compassionate support. We believe that no survivor is ever to blame for their abuse. No lifestyle, clothing, behaviour, or belief justifies violence. We believe in a zero tolerance stance on all forms of rape, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and exploitation. We believe survivors have the right to be heard, believed, and supported always.

Our Aims

Prevention

To challenge harmful cultural norms, attitudes, and beliefs by raising awareness, educating communities, and collaborating with other agencies to eliminate sexual violence and trauma.

Provision

To continuously grow and adapt our services to meet the evolving needs of survivors across Nigeria, ensuring they receive compassionate, relevant, and timely support.

Participation

To amplify the voices of survivors, removing all barriers to involvement and promoting meaningful client participation in shaping our services and policies.

Protection

To provide a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment where all individuals—regardless of gender, age, or identity—can express themselves freely and begin to heal.

Our Ethics

Our Ethics
